Life groups are small groups for junior high and high school students. Groups are comprised of 8-12 students (same approximate grade & gender) and two adult leaders. Life Groups meet one night a week, for 90 minutes, and typically include a variety of activities, including but not limited to: fun, discussion, Bible study, prayer, games, snacks, etc.
WHY JOIN A LIFE GROUP?
Being involved in a life group is the best way to get connected in our ministry. Our primary purpose of groups is that students to connect with other students and grow closer to God. Groups will spend time laughing together, praying together, learning together, serving together and so much more.
WHAT IS THE LIFE GROUP COMMITMENT?
Being a part of a life group is a privilege. We expect each student to commit to the following: (1) Come to group on-time and prepared (2) Respect your life group leader (3) Be kind and considerate to the other students in your life group and (4) Respect your host home.
WHO ARE THE LEADERS?
Our SSM team consists of adult volunteers who are trained and ready to serve students. Leaders range from college students to parents of students, each of whom have been interviewed and screened. The primary goal of these leaders is to encourage, guide and strengthen each students walk with Jesus Christ.
